Workshop

Amazing what people can do with beach findings. On invitation of the Namibia based Benguela Current Convention Yvonne trained women of an impoverished fishing community to create jewellery and decoration from beach findings. I was surprised with the results!!!

Workshop in Hondeklip Bay

Some of the jewellery (made from beach findings) made by fishermen’s women in Hondeklip Bay in the Northern Cape, South Africa. The 4 day workshop, last week, was organised by the Namibian based NGO Benguela Current Convention which has a branch in Cape Town. Yvonne de Wit of Studio98 was the educator.
