










During the past few months Yvonne has been working hard on a community project for the World Wildlife Fund. People from communities in Kleinmond, Betty’s Bay and Pringle Bay in the Western Cape, South Africa were given the chance to learn jewellery making from beach findings such as kelp, shells, driftwood, etc. And it was such a great success that even a Japanese delegation of the WWF visited the training facility at the tennis court in Kleinmond (see posting of a few days ago). Except jewellery making Yvonne also explained the basics of marketing and people skills. A nice addition was that staff of WWF and local ‘tennis stars’ popped in to buy jewellery.
