We are always looking for suitable models to showcase Yvonne’s jewellery. Sometimes we make use of professional models. This has its advantages for professional photo models know how to present jewellery in front of the camera. The disadvantage is that it looks too professional meaning that virtually all pictures show a beautiful person and standard poses.
A few years ago we met Maria Angeles-Porcel from Spain, being on a working holiday in our village. She fell in love with Yvonne’s jewellery. Asking her if she wanted to model she replied: “I can try”.
“Now you just do as if you are bragging to your friends about my jewellery”, Yvonne replied.
And there we went in the studio and in the courtyard. It was done in no time.
A year after Herman selected some photo’s of this session and made ‘Photo-Graphics’ of it; just for the shear fun of it. A ‘Photo-Graphic’, by the way, is basically a photograph (or photo collage) with added textures and digital in-painting/drawing.
