Yvonne’s statement as it will be presented during the Broken Earth exhibition at Manley Estate 27-29 September during the Tulbagh Art Festival:
 
“To comprehend the earth, the soil, stones and rocks is to connect with my inner human core. I am inspired by the uniquely, colourful, earthly palette and guided to transfigure stones, rocks and soils into small sculptural shapes”
 
Yvonne is part of the Overstrand Art Collective.
